Ingredients |

1. In a saucepan in medium heat, add butter, milk and sugar. 2. Allow butter to melt completely. 3. Remove from heat. Add all remaining ingredients. 4. Add flour to make a soft dough. 5. Roll out into 5mm thickness. Cut into desired shapes. 6. Fry in oil over medium heat to a golden colour 7. Sprinkle icing sugar. 8. Ideal nibbling treat.

1. Rub in butter and dry ingredients. 2. Add sour milk to make dough. 3. Divide dough into portions 4. Roll out until the depth is finger thick. 5. Cut into desired shapes, place on oven tray & brush with beaten egg. 6. Bake in a pre-heated oven of 180º for 20 minutes.
Variation A cup of grated cheese can be added to scone mixture.
